16-year-old Mel Deasy from county Cork carded a round of three-under-par 68 in Sunday’s strokeplay qualifier at Co Sligo Golf Club to earn himself a place in the main championship draw for next week’s Radisson Blu Sligo West of Ireland Amateur Open.
