Management Council is proposing to change the Clubs subscription year from a straight calendar year to 12 months from 1st March in each year.
Management Council is aware that invoicing in December and expecting payment in January can put financial stress on our members at a very expensive time for us all.
In addition, the current restriction on the use of the golf course in 2021 together with the great support and understanding the Club received from its members in 2020 has motivated Management Council to take this opportunity to propose the change of the subscription year as outlined above.
This should be of immediate benefit to our members in that subscriptions for January and February 2021 will be waived by the Club for all subscribing members.
As you will appreciate this will have an impact on the Clubs Profit & Loss but it should not impact too significantly on our cash-flow.
Management Council is seeking your support for the proposal which necessitates amending Rules 4.8 and 4.9 as set out herewith to accommodate the proposed new subscription year as detailed above and related matters.
As you will be aware, the Club is obliged to hold a General Meeting of Members for approval of the proposed changes of Rules.
We are seeking your support for payment within the rules of our Constitution timeframe.
Members should also note that Management Council has decided to vary the Clubs annual subscription monthly installment scheme which will in future extend over 9 months instead of 10 months previously.
