LADIES CLUB NEWS FOR WEEK ENDING 18TH FEBRUARY 2012

The Ladies Senior Alliance is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd February. The draw will run from 9.30 to 11.30am.
Presentation of prizes for January/February  will be held on Tuesday 28th February at 6.30pm.  A discussion on rules of golf will follow.

Saturday 18th February   -  Single V-Par -12 Holes
Sweep - 1st Pauline Maguire (28) 3 down.

Thursday 16th February -  Members  Junior Alliance
A large number of members played in the The Members Junior Alliance on Thursday last.  Refreshments were  provided  afterwards in the club.  The winner was Martina Sherlock (25) 21 Points.  Alice Flanagan  (31) with a score of  17 Points  took 2nd place narrowly  beating  Cora O Rourke (28) on the back 4.  
The next  Alliance is on the 15th March . Ladies please note the later Tee times 9.58 – 10.54

Tuesday  14th February   – 9 Hole -  Stableford
The  competition was played in very pleasant conditions with over forty members playing.  The winner was  Marie Heraughty  (22)  18 Points ( back 6);  2nd Una Gleeson (22)  18 Points B6;  3rd Delores Barrett (22)  17 Points;  4th Eileen Canning 35 (17) B4
 

Monday 13th February -  The Young at Heart competition was  played on Bomore on Monday last. The competition was reduced to five holes due to the wet and windy conditions. The winner was June Coulter;  2nd Cora O Rourke;  3rd Mary McGowan
