Join the fundraiser for our teams
GET behind our teams this year! That’s the message from Teams Coordinators Leah McDaid and Shane Underwood who are urging everyone to get involved or get behind our players.
And there’s an opportunity to show your support in two weeks’ time when they have organised the annual fundraiser to support the competition season. The date for your diary is Saturday, May 17, when there’s a team-of-four competition with proceeds going to team funds. The best two scores will count per hole. It’s a semi open event so members can invite up to three guests to join them. Entry is €10 for members and €25 for guests. A manual timesheet is in operation for this event so names need to go down on the noticeboard. Note, there are separate competitions for ladies and men.
Event organisers Louis Walsh and Leah said: “We really want this to be successful day so we encourage everyone to support this event. We thank you for your help in doing so.”
